About the Event
Did you know that mature, healthy tree cover in your neighborhood adds 7-15% to your property value?! Over the past year, Streamlink Education and volunteers planted over 1,000 native trees and shrubs in Urbana to improve air and water quality; provide wildlife habitat; prevent stormwater runoff; capture carbon; and beautify, cool and serve as a sound barrier to our neighborhood! To insure their growth and longevity, some maintenance is needed periodically. On September 11 between 8 - 11 a.m., join us at one of three locations to help feed and straighten our new trees!
