Our Vision

A healthy ecosystem now and for future generations of Urbana residents

Do you live in Urbana, Maryland? Do you like shady trees, birds, butterflies and bees, noise reduction and privacy, flowers that come back year after year and don't need watering or fertilizing, and healthy, happy children and pets? Of course you do! Join your neighbors as we consider how we as a community can do our part, no matter how large or small, to protect our environment and the animals who live alongside us; learn about native plants and why they matter to the environment, to wildlife and to us; plan and plant forests and gardens; eliminate the use of harmful chemicals in areas where children and pets play; and maintain a beautiful, walkable community whose residents have a high quality of life (and high property values!)
